Blessed Are The Pure in Heart...

Matthew 5:8  "Blessed are the pure in heart:  for they shall see God..."

In this particular commandment Jesus is prompting us to achieve purity of heart...The heart is the guardian of our spiritual life....Some say you have to go with the gut...if I did that I would be dead and in hell today...Praise God, the Holy Ghost talked to my heart...Spiritual contemplation is possible only with a heart that is pure...one that has not been swept clean...is not yet pure...
"The light of the body is the eye:  if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of darkness..."  Matthew 6:22-23

A pure heart is meek, humble, guileless, simple, trusting, true, unsuspicious, gentle, good, not covetous, not envious, not adulterous.  The pure in heart are people who can clearly see God...they can feel God...they can know God in a deeper sense...

The Lord is my light and my savior;  whom then shall fear?  The Lord is the defender of my life;  of whom then shall I be afraid?...One thing I have asked the Lord, this will I seek after:  That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life...My heart said unto Thee:  I will seek the Lord.  My face hat sought after Thee:  Thy face, O Lord, will I seek...Psalm26:1, 4, and 8...

Purity of the heart preserves the Word of God...To see God is the highest blessedness...So the pure in heart constantly seeks the vision of God;  it wants His light in its depths...so therefore the pure in heart strive to live to the commandments and laws of God...

Unto the pure all things are pure:  but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure;  and even their mind and conscience is defiled...

What should we do if our heart is not pure...first confess that you haven't been living right...Pray and ask God for spiritual insight in order to take eyes off man and keep them on God...Pray til you become saved, sanctified, filled with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost as He giveth the utterance...Pray til you touch Heaven...Prayer expels evil---that offspring of satan---the enemy of Christ---of Salvation---from the heart...

To remain pure til He comes or calls for us...Have your Heart Set on Heaven...Your Pure Heart and You Will See God...

Hope to Meet You There...

God Bless...

Matthew 5:7

Blessed Are the Mercy...
Matthew 5:7  "Blessed are the merciful:  for they shall obtain mercy..."
What a direct statement from the Master...cannot get much plainer than that, but you know that there are some that would argue it...Amen!!!

Mercy is an attribute of Divine love and one of man's noblest sentiments.  To show mercy means to be Godlike...compassionate, longsuf...fering, plenteous in mercy...

Now make it plain...Just because you show mercy doesn't mean that you justify falsehoods or sins, not do you tolerat foolish acts or vain imaginations that are thought of your brother or sister in the Lord...God will not tolerate murder...and when we talk about each other in such a way that influence in killed, repetation is destroyed...then we have shown that person no mercy...well to be blunt...God will show you no mercy either...

God help us to be more loving...help us to call upon the mercy chords of Heaven and have such bowels of compassion that we will have such mercy shown for those who really want to be and do right...

Folks we gotta love them and teach them...not our opinions but everyword that is in the word of God...every thing handed down by the General Assembly which seemeth good to the Holy Ghost...

When I deserved justice...Praise God He gave me mercy....and I have no choice but to be merciful to anyone...for I want to have the mercy of God on me...
Praise the Lord...Start, if you haven't already practicing this type of deed...Your testimony will go further...

God Bless

Matthew 5:6

Blessed Are They...

Matthew 5:6 "Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled..."

We hardly think about the food we eat, or where our next meal is coming from. Why there is a 24/7 on just about any corner...If we wake up wanting something special or just do not feel like cooking...we can do take out anytime...
As sure as we have plenty, there are those who have none...they are hungry...would love just a portion of what we throw away...
So it is with our spiritual life also...do you realize that we go hungry and thirsty sometimes because we throw so many blessings away...that is a sad reality, but a true one...We just don't want to sit at God's table long enough to get full and to go out and share...
John 6:35 "And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that commeth to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst..."
There have been times when nothing would quench my thirst like water...
Same as my spiritual soul...nothing would quench my thirst except to get in the prayer closet with Jesus until the drought was flooded and pouring out with His love...
The more of God that I come to know, the more of God that I want to know...He always will pour out showers of blessings more than we can receive at one time...
The journey is long and the mountains are rough...that is why He gave us valleys...so that we could quench our hunger and thirst there while we rest...What a beautiful thought...
Seek God, hunger and thirst after His ways and your soul shall be satisfied...

Jesus has a table spread where the saints of God are fed...He invites His chosen people COME AND DINE!!!

God Bless

Matthew 5:5

"Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth..."   And usually everyone that writes or talks on this subject of being meek will give you a definition...   Meek---appropriately humble, not proud, or refractory...   Weak---lacking the streng...th to sustain...   Quite a difference don't you think...   Many think that if you show signs of meekness that you have a weak side...not so to the child of God...Meek---being humble enough to prefer you brother or sister in the Lord...Not so ready to argue with them over things that are gonna rust and decay anyway...but get in line with the word and get the work done---together...Amen!!!   Who are the Meek???   Well, Paul is one I thought of...Strong in position with the Sanhedran Council...yet he left it all to follow God and do His work...   Abraham...Father of the Faithful...he and Lots herdsmen began arguing over water and grass...now God had already told Abraham as far as his eye could see...it was promised to him by God...Wow!!! He could've used that number...but humbly...he let Lot choose first that is godly character...that is meek...Genesis 13:8-11   Last but not least---Jesus Christ the Son of God, the second in the triune of the Godhead, The Word made flesh...came from Heaven to the lowly state...was stripped on Golgotha and they gambled for His robe...shed His precious blood so that not only you and I, but many could go free...but friend if it had only been for one, He would have done this...He had to become meek...submissive to the Father... That made a way for us also to do the same...   Seek to be Meek not WEAK...   Every child of God should be gentle, loving, patient, not easy to anger, and considerate...When we are made meek we are more open to God's guidance, His discipline, His love...His journey for us to win others to Christ...to show them that the world does not love them...God loves them...   Why inherit the earth???  When we serve God...it is all ours anyway...for "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world..."  That is a promise...   God BlessSee More

Matthew 5:4

They that Mourn---Matthew 5:4
Did you know that there are thousands of mourners all over the world...?   Oh yes, they mourn over blighted hopes, over financial status, over the loss of a loved one...and many more things that could be listed, but due to room, I will let your mind thi...nk on mournful things...   There are three kinds of mourning---A natural mourning---such as has been referred to above... A sinful mourning---inordinate grief.  Refusing to be comforted... A gracious mourning---this deals with the spirit...A godly sorrow type of mourning...when we are rich and blessed with spiritual goods, we have need for nothing...but God doesn't just leave us at being blessed...He comforts too...   In Luke, the Bible talks about a woman who washed Jesus feet with her tears...Have you shed tears over your sins before you got saved??? or even mourned afterwards because you thought of where you could've been, but now you are with the Master...that is an awesome thought...or like the Prodigal Son, who mourned because he made an almost grave mistake...Let me say, when you eat with the swine...you just might be taking a chance on dying with them...but, in his shame and disgust and realizing that he needed to get up out of this state he was in and Go to his Father's House...Mourning, went there and was embraced, or comforted if you will...   When we mourn over the destituted state we are in...then we will see the Balm of Gilead...Comforted...Praise the Lord!!!  Mourn, now, always a continous experience...We have much to mourn over...the world's condition is getting no better...We need to cry out...I do not want a rock to cry out for me...Now it seems like the time that we are in a Trevailing Mourning...one that keeps us on our face before God for our lost loved ones...for the people in high places, for the leaders of our church...we mourn for each other...But, guess what---we shall be comforted...   Praise God---Joy cometh in the morning...   True comfort will not be found in temporary satisfactions of what the world gives us...it is only for a little while...but they that mourn...shall be comforted...by God, Himself...FOREVER!!!   THE COMFORT OF HEAVEN WILL COMPENSATE FOR ALL THE "MOURNING" ON EARTH...   God Bless...See More

Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit

Matthew 5:23

Some have the misconception that to be poor in spirit is to be without physically...Not so...to be poor in spirit is to have the realization that we are nothing without God...

It is a person that realizes they cannot save themselves...they have a keen sense of a need for God's grace as the publican in Luke 18:13---"And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner..."

People who have abandoned pride and arrogance for a life of serving Christ...to become broken and contrite...to realize that I am nothing, I can do nothing, I will never be anything without God...

Just as the prodigal son realized after being entangled in self, that he must return to the Father's House...Praise the Lord!!!

This is where our soul longs to be---with the Lord who made us...

I am the poorest rich person I know, cause I know God...Do you???

This life will pass, our possesions will rust and decay, but the life we live for Christ will last...this is true living...

Your soul will live on...either Heaven or Hell...which one will you choose...

Even, Jesus had to become broken of self will...He didn't want to die...He asked His Father if it be His will, let this cup pass...but nontheless Father, thy will be done...

Praise God---He became poor in spirit, so that I could become Poor in Spirit and gain Heaven...

Think on this...

God bless,

The Lord Hath Need of Him

This blog today was written by Brother Don Hutton Jr...from Ohio...it was so good that I had to share it on my blog space...Thankful for all these writings...Hope that you enjoy...and God Bless
Pamzspamz

I was asked to write on this subject by a person in the group. As stated when I created the group if anybody wanted someone to write on a certain subject to inbox them or something  and we’d do it. This is the first one I’ve been asked to do and id like to credit the title of this study to Sister Pamela Stewart.

What I am going to be writing on today is a story that we are all probably familiar with or have at least heard of, It is “ The Lord hath need of him”.  The actual meaning of this word is “House of mercy”. I am going to use this pool as an example. All of us who are saved has Gods grace to sustain us, his grace is sufficient for us. Sinners on the other hand only has his mercy and this is only by the prayers of the saints for God to have mercy on them. Every breath that a sinner takes is the mercy of God extended to them to allow them a chance at the grace of God. We are under the mercy of God to but we have his grace while the sinners only have his mercy. Some “saved” people can be living under mercy instead of grace if they are not careful. Well I suppose we could go back to what I previously said, sinners only have Gods mercy.  This pool was touched by an angel from God to extend mercy to the sick and diseased people that was around the pool. We could call sinners sick without God spiritually. They could be spiritually lame, not doing Gods work, they could be spiritually dumb not using there calling to speak Gods word to the lost, and so on. This pool is like Gods mercy to sinners, but only the ones that get to the pool and step into the mercy of God are made whole of there infirmity, we could call this the grace of God once it is accepted by the diseased. Maybe we could look at it in this respect also. Gods mercy was in the old testament as carnal ordinances given to man for a supplication for there sins. The pool could represent this, the old testament and the law. Jesus came and brought grace, this could be, he personally going to the man and healing him. Instead of the man having to be under mercy any longer Jesus came to him personally and healed him. Gave him the choice, he said rise up and walk and the man did. He called the man from among the other impotent people, the one man out of the many by the pool. It had different porches round about the pool. We could look at this metaphorically speaking and say these are other churches which have the mercy of God. Not to say that they don’t have the grace of God, not by any means. Its like the gentiles being grafted in. The Jews was the original people of God and God allowed the gentiles to have grace by his mercy. The very body of Christ was walking among them but Jesus chose the one man out of the many. Many are called but few are chosen. The body of Christ chose the man, if it binds something its bound, if it looses something its loosed.  The Lord chooses people out of the world to be healed. If a person is called, the calling is without repentance. The lord says to sinners “ I have need of you” and its your choice to get up and be healed. He has a calling for those to fulfill. He has need of you to spread his word in whatever form it may be. Will we answer the call of Christ?

Get To Work

1 Kings 19:19-21 "So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth:  and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.  And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother and then I will followthee, And he said unto him, Go back again:  for what have I done to thee?  And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat.  Then he arose, and went after Elijah, adn ministered unto him."

The first thing we see about Elisha is the he was working...he was a plowman.  He was plowing with the oxen, breaking up the tough, rugged ground...Elisha would remain a worker til the day he died...And, his job would be a plowman...Oh, but God had a different type of ground in mind for Elisha to break up...Not the hard, rugged and tough ground we call earth...but the ground that God had in mind was harder than any plot of earth...It was the hearts of the Israelites...

Are you a worker???  God said to occupy til He comes...What is your job???  Think about your duties...apply them spiritually...Your job will be much better if you allow God to shine...You may be the only Light some people Read...Yes, I said read...Now back to Elisha...

He was to break up the stony heart of man that had become so harden to God's Word...and He had to know just how to handle the reigns...He knew that he couldn't whip it in their hearts, couldn't plow to deep at the first planting...and couldn't throw them away just because sprigs of no use kept springing up...

When we are the plowmen for God...allow Him to control the plow...Use His Words not yours to win a soul to Christ...God's Word is SHARP...but more POWERFUL when used with Love and true Concern and will win the heart of a sinner when used with the annointing of the Holy Ghost...Well, I had not planned on typing that in here...but God knows the reason...Praise His Name!!!

So Elijah comes up and throws his mantle around Elisha...Elisha didn't have to ask what was going on...He knew what that meant...Mantle's were made for Kings and prophets back in the Bible days...Mantle's were a symbol of the owners calling and authority...Whewwwwwwwwww!!!  To be chosen by the King of Glory...what an honor...I have heard some say, "Well, God has called me to do something and I don't know what it is..."  Let me tell you something...When God calls you...YOU KNOW!!!  And, you don't have to sit and try to figure out WHAT IT IS HE WANTS YOU TO DO...THAT IS WHY MANY ARE CALLED...BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN...FEW...
The truth of the matter is because some are not willing to give up material comfort...Friend...material comfort is of stubble and hay...it ain't gonna last...get in the War Zone and Win Someone to Christ...We need to have our hand so tight on theirs and literally pulling them with all of the Holy Ghost in us out of the lake of fire...Somebody...prayed for me...Praise God...they took the time to get on their face before God Almighty and Pray for me...They didn't say let me get through with this, or let me  do that first...when God told them my name and what He wanted THEY PRAYED FOR ME!!!  Not only that but the came and ministered to me...to my soul...And all because they were suited up and ready for battle...Look plowing is good, but you are not gonna break up a stony heart if you are not dressed for the battle...YOU GOT TO HAVE AND KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR WEAPON...Praise God...The Plow is the Word of God...If you don't know it...Learn It...You are even gonna need it to save yourself while your out there in the field doing God's Work...AMEN!!!

Do I totally understand the sovereign choice of God??? No...I didn't understand why He called me to preach...why He loved me enough to allow me to know the truth, how he uses the simple things in life to teach us...No I do not understand it all...but I have experienced it...I am so thankful that God came walking in the cool of the day...seeing me in my sin...and He called out to me..."Pam, where are you? I missed you talking to me today and I just had to come and see how things were..."  When  I heard the voice of God and my spirit was that of a broken and contrite one...one that God could work with...The Plow got through and broke ole stony heart up...Praise God...sometimes even now, I have to have a good plowing...But one day it will be worth it...I had rather be broken before God than to think that I am somebody and never leave my comfort zone...Oh what a missed opportunity you have if you are not working for the Lord...GO!!! And Go quickly...there is a heart that is breaking and if it is not won for the Lord...I promise you the devil will fill it with fake love...

Friend...Are you thirsty?  Come to the fountain of life giving water...
Do you have wishes?  The gift of Salvation is Free to all, made possible by the shedding of His blood...
Do you want more out of life?  He will give you life ABUNDANTLY!!!
Are you Hungry?  Taste of Him...He is the Bread of Life...His Words are sweeter than Honey...

Child of God we are all witnesses for Him...but if you have heard The Call of God to go forth and be His Minister...Count the cost, leave the past behind and Follow Him...

Elisha had forsaken all, willingly...no questions asked...Each time Elijah told Elisha to stop and not go any further...HMMM!!!  I think the Lord tells us that too sometimes...maybe to see how far we are willing to go...Look at the passage of scripture in Luke 24:13-33 (please read in the KJV)  For space I want type in the scriptures...but it is an awesome passage of scripture...Jesus was wetting their appetite...but in this passage of scriptures...He was testing their desire for Him...
Oh yes, you will be tested...but HOLD ON A LITTLE LONGER HELP IS ON THE WAY...PRAISE GOD!!!  YOU JUST GOT TO REACH OUT, REACH UP AND HOLD ON AND PASS THE WORD ON...THAT MEANS YOU GOT TO PLOW THE FIELD, PLANT THE SEED...YOU AS A MINISTER OF THE MOST HIGH GOD, PLANT AND THE WORKERS OF THE FIELD DO THE WATERING...WORKING TOGETHER IN UNITY AND LOVE...SINNERS WILL SEE THIS AND THEY TOO WILL WANT WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TELLING THEM ABOUT!!!

Praise God!!!! Praise God!!!

There is nothing in the way of you following God whereever He leads or calls you to go except you unbroken will...BREAK IT!!!   HAVE THE ATTITUDE OF I WILL FOLLOW WHERE YOU LEAD ME...THAT MEANS WORK...WILL IT BE EASY!!! NO!!!  BUT AS SURE AS GOD SENT MANNA FROM HEAVEN, HE IS STILL GOD TODAY AND HE WILL SUSTAIN YOU AND KEEP YOU IN HIS WORK FOR HIM...

HOW FAR WILL YOU GO TO WORK FOR THE LORD???

Praise God I want to go just as far as He takes me...

I hope that something has been said here to get us and keep us motivated to get out of our comfort zone, wake us up in Zion, and let us WORK for HIM while it is yet DAY!!!

God Bless

The Grocery List

Louise Redden, a poorly dressed lady with a look of defeat on her face,
walked into a grocery store..

She approached the owner of the store in a most humble manner and asked
if he would let her charge a few groceries..

She softly explained that her husband was very ill and unable to work,
they had seven children and they needed food.

John Longhouse, the grocer, scoffed at her and requested that she leave
his store at once.

Visualizing the family needs, she said: 'Please, sir! I will bring you
the money just as soon as I can.'

John told her he could not give her credit, since she did not have a
charge account at his store.

Standing beside the counter was a customer who overheard the
conversation between the two The customer walked forward and told the
grocer that he would stand good for whatever she needed for her family.
The grocer said in a very reluctant voice, 'Do you have a grocery list?'

Louise replied, 'Yes sir.' 'O.K' he said, 'put your grocery list on the
scales and whatever your grocery list weighs, I will give you that
amount in groceries.'

Louise hesitated a moment with a bowed head, then she reached into her
purse and took out a piece of paper and scribbled something on it. She
then laid the piece of paper on the scale carefully with her head still
bowed.

The eyes of the grocer and the customer showed amazement when the scales
went down and stayed down..

The grocer, staring at the scales, turned slowly to the customer and
said begrudgingly, 'I can't believe it.'

The customer smiled and the grocer started putting the groceries on the
other side of the scales. The scale did not balance so he continued to
put more and more groceries on them until the scales would hold no more.

The grocer stood there in utter disgust. Finally, he grabbed the piece
of paper from the scales and looked at it with greater amazement.

It was not a grocery list, it was a prayer, which said:

'Dear Lord, you know my needs and I am leaving this in your hands.'

The grocer gave her the groceries that he had
gathered and stood in stunned silence.

Louise thanked him and left the store. The other customer handed a
fifty-dollar bill to the grocer and said; 'It was worth every penny of
it. Only God Knows how much a prayer weighs.'

THE POWER: When you receive this, say a prayer. That's all you have to
