New

Psalm 96:1-4  "Oh, sing to the Lord a new song!  Sing to the Lord, all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, bless His name;  proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.  Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.  For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised;  He is to be feared above all gods."

As I was reading and studying this passage of scriptures, I went back to the day that the Lord called me to be His child and I accepted Him into my heart...Oh what a day!!!  I was so honored that He would even claim me as His daughter...

He gave me life...New Life!!!  All things become new and old things were not only washed away, but cast away never to be remembered by Him anymore...Praise the Lord!!!

He put a New Song in my heart!!!  Gave me a story to tell in hopes to help someone else find Him and to help me remember where He picked me up from...
YES!!!---He is ALIVE AND WELL IN ME!!!  He will completely do for you what He said He would do...

He forgives...He protects...He loves...He supplies...He heals...He delivers...and I could go on and never have enough room to tell what He does...

You serve Him and you will never be lonely...He is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother!!!  All He wants in return is you...your heart...your soul...and your will...

Many times on the path to Heaven, I have been broken...and He picked me up and put me back on the Potter's Wheel and made me NEW...and showed me a way to live righteous and whole before HIM and the world...through sanctification and the precious gift of the Holy Ghost dwelling in me...He loved me when I felt so unloved...He protected me when I was in harms way...He visited me when I needed a visitor...He healed me when I was at deaths door...He has stood by me when others have walked away...Oh who wouldn't was to be made NEW by the precious blood of Jesus...

YES!!!  He is GREAT!!!  The greatest GIFT that God gave to us...His Son...We should fear what and who He His...

He is HIS WORD!!!   And, unlike worldly gods, His Word is tried and it is pure and sure in an unsure world...

I stand in AWE to think of this KING OF GLORY, cared enough to give up His will and die so that I may live...

God help me to give up my WILL so that HIS WILL may be done!!!

Try HIM!!!  You will be NEW too...

The Settled Word

The Settled Word

Psalm 119:89 "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven."

Some who read the Bible regularly are familiar with these sweeping statements from God's Word...

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:  it shall not return unto me void, but it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it..."  Isaiah 55:11

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled..."  Matthew 5:18

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away..."  Matthew 24:35

"But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.  And this si the word which by the gospel is preached unto you..."  1 Peter 1:25

On this foundation, the psalmist made additional promises to his Lord in this stanza (Psalm 119:89-96).  He noted the affliction that almost took his life..v.92...and the wicked who tried to destroy him...V.95...,common enough occurrences among the godly...
But in spite of the troubles in life, this godly man knew that the evidence abounds for God's faithfulness throughout the earth...v.90-91...

God's questions to Job---Job 38-41---centered on the evidence of His control and care for the universe...These prompted the psalmist to reiterate his commitment to a firm familiarity with God and His precepts and an effort, continually to seek Him...Psalm 119:93-94

God knew that the wickedness of this world would try and change His Word...
God knew that their would be some to re-write His Word...but forever, His Word is settled in Heaven and in Earth and in the Heart of those who serve Him...
And the godly man understandeth His precepts and accepts them for His learning...Praise God that there are those whose heart and mind is in ONE ACCORD and LIVING HOLY LIVES BEFORE HIM AND THESE WITNESSES!!!

MAY GOD RICHLY OPEN UP HIS WORD TO US ALL!!!  AMEN!!!

The Joy that Jesus Gives

The Joy That Jesus Gives

The children of God, and especially The Church of God, should be a joyful people.  Where there is joy, there is a cause for joy.  Joy, is caused usually by a special occassion.  But, I am talking about a forever joy...That is the kind that Jesus gives...

Isaiah 12:3 "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation..."  I mean..., you don't see one come to the altar of salvation and leave with a sad face...I have seen the hardest of sinners come to an altar and walk away with such JOY...you never thought that you would ever see the person smile...but when Jesus got ahold of them, they smiled from ear to ear...couldn't stop...Ain't that awesome???  The Joy that Jesus gives will make you shine...all the time...even when you feel the rain in your life is about to take you under and the storms are hurling faster than you care to think about...JOY!!! is what you can hold on to because it is from the Father above and MAN cannot take this JOY away from you...Amen!!!

The Joy that Jesus gives never changes under any circumstance, except to just grow stronger...Many incidents in the Bible talks about the miracles performed by Jesus, and His disciples...For example, the JOY being spread...True story, Lazarus, a dear and close friend to Jesus passed away...Jesus wept because of his family and friends unbelief...but when Jesus was three days on time, and called Lazarus, Come Forth...Oh the Joy on that day...I am sure that the people hurried with the news of this...JOY spread...What a miracle they witnessed!!!

My friend, JOY like this should be spread when we see one hit the altar of repentence---The healing lines of being freed from sickness---The testimony of someone down and out being lifted up---Praise God if He never did another thing for me!!! He has already done enough...About a year ago I was told that I had esophgeal cancer...showed the pics to my pastor---but guess what---GOD HEALED ME!!!  I was preparing to die, but God said, "LIVE..."   You talk about some shouting time...I had some...and still have that time today to think that GOD wrought a miracle in me...YES, I BELIEVE IN THE JOY THAT JESUS GIVES!!!

Salvation, Sanctification, The Holy Ghost, The Church of God, contributes to a permanence of our joy...We are  a special people to be called out and to be made known of part of the Mystery of The Church of God...and yet, we know not all...but on that day...on that Joyful Morning all will be made known...Don't cha wanna go??? WHEW!!!  I am about ready!!!

Jesus also had some things to say about Joy...In the 15th. Chapter of John, He had spoke of pruning the unfruitful branches from the true vine, and the keeping of His commandments, He said, "These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might be full."  That leads me to believe the joy of the Lord is kin to a fruitful and obedient life, to the Word of God...Praise the Lord!!!

David said, "in thy presence is fulness of joy..."

The world would love to destroy us, but in Him we have overcome the world...  Jesus prayed for us to be overcomers...so when the enemy tries to steal your joy...Kneel down and pray for them...that is what the Bible tells us to do...

III John Chapter 4---"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth..."

See when we obey, we are giving God joy...and there is no greater joy than to know that we make God happy...

Thank God for THE JOY THAT JESUS GAVE AND IS STILL GIVING TODAY!!!

The Wells of Salvation

I have been studying alot this week and was redirected last night to the thought of,  "thirsty people." 

At Christmas time, what an awesome gift to share...The good news of Jesus Christ....but one has to really be thristy to drink from this Well...

Isaiah Chapter 12---and I do not know yet where I will stop...or rather where the Lord will stop me..."And in that day thou shalt say, O Lord, I will praise thee:  though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me...Behold, God is my salvation;  I will trust, and not be afraid:  for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song;  he also is become my salvation...Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation...And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, make mention that his name is exalted..."  these are verses 1-4...

I read this and thought about how in different parts of the world, and sometimes here in the USA...there have been periods of drought...Crops destroyed...people thirst...This can be a depressing and devasting sight...Especially if you see someone dying for lack of water...You can live for awhile without food...but up to maybe 7 days without fluid...I know that sometimes I will get so thirsty...usually drink sodas, but sometimes nothing quenches my thirst like a good glass of cool water...Life of all forms depend on it...

Just as natural water is to natural thirst...so is spiritual water to spiritual thirst...God is the Well of Salvation...Where God is not let in, there is no life...death will follow...and it is an undying death...God doesn't want any to perish...that is why He gave the ultimate gift...His Son...Just as a river carries water to a town from the springs in the mountains, so does Jesus bring life brand new from God to those who call on His name...There is no other name under Heaven by which man can be saved...that thirst can be quenched except by calling on the name of Jesus...Amen


You know folks can have water right in front of them, and be so thirsty...but, they will never be satisfied until they reach out and grab...Until we reach out and touch the one who satisfies all our thirst...we will starve to death for a quenching of our souls...

Reflect for a moment...Is your thirst being quenched?

We too are a well...One that should be springing forth...and giving those that are hungry and thirsty for righteousness a drink of that lifegiving water...

Isaiah 58:11-12  "And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones:  and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not...And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places:  thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations;  and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer
of paths to dwell in..."  WHOOOO!!!  Praise the Lord!!!

Church of God, we are the SPIRITUAL WELL that people are gonna look too...
The Word of God springing forth from us, out to others will bind up all that is lost and people WILL BEGIN TO LIVE!!!  BECAUSE THEY REACHED OUT AND GOT A HOLD OF THE WATER OF LIFE...PRAISE THE LORD!!!  And that is Jesus Christ...

May we be willing to SPRING FORTH for The Church of God!!!  God Bless...Hope that you have read something that will prick your heart...to dip in the WELL...

THE BOTTOM LINE

Trying to save space please re-read Ephesians chapter 6:10-20...

Ephesians 6:14 "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;..."

We must "provide for honest things not only in the sight of God, but in the sight of men also..."  II Corinthians 8:21 that is bible...Not only do we need to be truthful, but we need to "STAND" on the truth of the Bible... When we face trials and tribulations, we need to tighten our belt while standing on the truths written in the Word of God...You cannot go wrong by doing right...What we know in the good times, we need to hold on to in the bad times, as the McKamey's sing it well..."The God of the Mountain, is still God in the Valley..." Always remember that God will not allow us to be tempted or troubled what we cannot stand that He has already made an escape for us...I Corinthians 10:13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:  but God is faithfulm, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it..."  Amen!!!

Isaiah 59:17  "For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and a helmet of salvation upon his head;  and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak."

Whenever the enemy tries to bring up your past to accuse you, the breastplate of righteousness is your trusty defense...If the Spirit of Christ dwells within you, then god receives you as His son or daughter no matter what the devil says...
A loving Father corrects his child, and once you have corrected your life with Christ, then it is cast away never to be remembered no more...
Guilt is one of the darts that the enemy loves to throw at a child of God...He is a liar, remember that...
The Lord loves His children...that is why He designed this armor for us to wear...He knew that we would face evil and corruption...and sad to say sometimes it is more from within than without...but He who holdeth on to the end...praise God will be rewarded...
Let us who are of the day, be sober, putting the breastplate of faith and love;  and for an helmet, salvation...We are to let the light of Christ shine to those around us and follow the Lord's leading in doing good works...  Matthew 5:16;  Ephesians 2:10 adn Titus 2:14
We must meet the need of the ones in need and that is the lost...Win them at any cost...Praise the Lord!!!
We need to preach the Word...Be ready, in season, out season...We must be obedient, that our feet trod shod up with peace ,and to the world share  the gospel of Jesus Christ...
Above all taking the Shield of Faith for with that we will show perfect LOVE...And, perfect love casteth out fear...the fear of what man can do to us for we know where our soul is going...Live life without fear...You ask how...Well, get into the Word and let the Word get into you...Wear the Helmet of Salvation, daily...It will protect your mind, thoughts that aren't pleasing to God will vanish...
The Sword of the Spirit is God's Word, and with it applied to our hearts and our daily walk with Him...there will be no room even for vain imagination...
Just as Jesus, the Living Word defeated Satan---the Written Word spoken will also...For His word is powerful, quicker than a two-edged sword...His word will cut you up or lift you up...
Pray always...never stop...Strongholds are broken by the Spirit of prayer...Standing in the gap---wins souls...A dangerous place to be, but worth it to see a soul set free from bondage...Praise the Lord!!!
Botton Line is; "We Serve a Risen Saviour..." 
Heaven will be worth it all folks...God Bless all and I hope that this study on The Armor of God has been a blessing to all who read it...It has me studying it...

The Armor of God ---Ephesians 6:11-15

"Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to wit...hstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand,
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth"
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perserverance and supplication for all saints"

A direct command---"Put on the whole armor of God..."  Well then, what is the problem...you wouldn't leave home in your best suit without a shirt, would you?
For a child of God this armor is the best suit we have to protect us from the devils tricks and believe me he has plenty...and they are no different than in the day at the Garden of Eden...they are still lies...
Nothing will make us any smarter than God...for He knoweth ALL THINGS...
And, so many fight against each other...Why???  Because self has not died out to self...We as children of God and as members of The Church of God need to be so cloesly knitted together that even air cannot get between us...but satan manages somehow to come between the children of God too...with petty things, things that really shouldn't be...maybe because we were not suited up... 
But, our fight is with the wicked ones...Have you not seen it in the day that we live???  The wickedness in the high seats of our government, and they get maybe a slap on the hand for their disobeying the law...but there is a day coming when all things will be shown in the light...GOD HELP US TO NOT BE FOUND WITHOUT OUR ARMOR ON!!!  And the most thrilling part of that is when we get to Heaven, and we see how bashed up it is...we can shout---BUT THANK GOD WE STOOD!!!  PRAISE HIS NAME!!!  THE BATTLE IS NOT MINE BUT THE LORD'S!!!  WE DID WHAT HE SAID AND WE WON THROUGH THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST IN US!!!  AMEN!!!
And, the spiritual wickedness in high places...we have seen in our time the devil dim the eyes of men and women that once saw the doctrine of God and they turned their hearts toward a more convenient way of living and have added to themselves a downward turn to God's Word...HELP US TO HOLD ON!!!
I will be blunt in the following statement---"WITHOUT TAKING THE ARMOR OF GOD UP, WE WILL BE DESTROYED IN THE BATTLE!!!" 
Keep the word of God applied in your heart...you never know when you will be in a situation where the word will be what will keep you and save you from going down...
WITH ALL WE HAVE IN US IN THIS DAY AND TIME!!!  STAND!!! KEEP GOING!!! DEFEAT THE ENEMY!!! YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!! THERE SHOULD BE A PRAYER CHAIN SO HUGE IN THE CHURCH OF GOD ONE FOR ANOTHER THAT THE DEVIL WOULD BE SCARED TO COME CLOSE TO ONE OF GOD'S CHILDREN!!! AMEN!!!
Let us pray one for another that we all should be able to Stand!!! when we have done all we know to do...and when we see one getting weary that we would be willing to hold them up in the battle...Praise the Lord!!!
I truly want to make Heaven my home...some live as if this is all there is...My Friend, it is not all there is...there is Heaven and there is Hell...
It is your choice...

Study on "The Armour of God" This is an awesome series...Let me start with the scripture that I am studying today...May this richly bless someone and may God speak to all of our hearts to study, hear, read and practice the Words of God in our lives daily...He is our Salvation...
Scripture for me today is---Ephesians 6:10 "Finally, my brethern, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."
What a strong exhortation to encourage the child of God that even though we go through struggles...we have been given an insight on how to stay strong...how to be of good courage...how to remember that we are not in a warfare with people...but of powers and principalities of darkness...we are in a WAR AGAINST SATAN!!! It is a known fact that a soilder must be brave, not afraid of facing danger for the right cause...our cause as Christians is Walk as Jesus did...spreading the news of His Father...we cannot save, but we can lead others to Christ Plan of Salvation...Just as a soilder in war for the people to be FREE from Rulers of Darkness...Christians in the battle for souls to be FREE from the ONE WHO RULES THE DARKNESS...WHO HAS COME TO KILL AND DESTROY YOUR SOULS...we must be brave...stouthearted...strong for the service of the Father...strong to die and not deny His precious name...strong to not turn your back on the Lord...Strong to pray daily for your will to break and strong enough to let go and let God...Amen!!! How can we maintain this type of strength...by allowing the workings of the Holy Ghost to do His job in us...LEAD---GUIDE---COMFORT---HELP US TO RESIST---AND TO TAKE US HOME---AFTER WE HAVE LEARNED TO..."FINALLY, BRETHERN..." That means sister too...

Remain Faithful

"Remain faithful to what you have learned, and believe...be persistant in following My commands that I have given to you...be persistant when it is even not convenient for you...it is a pressing way...but the mark is much worth it my child...and above ALL...Love beyond any human degree through Me..."

Now that is a paragraph that would sometimes be hard to take...but the Lord so spoke to me these words after I had gotten up from prayer...apparently, we all need to stay on our knees and listen more often to what God has to tell us...if we do not, then we are missing out on timely instructions...and I for one do not want to miss out on what God has for me...now or later...

I began to ponder on "Faith..." 
Then I began to think about Peter---his faith wasn't up to par or he would have finished his walk on the water to Jesus...he took his eyes off and they began to wander...We cannot take our eyes off the prize...We must stay focused on what we have to do here in this world...What is that???  Well, we were called out to be like Him...to be about our Father's business...God help us to get our eyes back on Him...to stay Focused...to have Faith...not to take Risk...

Faith will move mountains...not let the Mountain crush you...
Faith will dry up rivers...not let the River drown you...
Faith will shut up the mouths of hungry lions...not let them devour you...
Faith will open up doors...not close them up to you...
Faith will teach you to love...not to hate...
Faith will keep you going...not stop you...
Faith will help you grow up in Christ...not let you die out to the world...

God help me to have that kind of FAITH!!!

Mark 11:22 & 23 & 24 "And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God...For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;  and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass;  he shall have whatsoever he saith... Therefore I say unto you, "What things soever ye desire, whe ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them..."

Now we should use godly wisdom in what we ask for, for where your heart is there also is your treasure...I want my wants to be that in which would WANT HIM MORE!!!  Amen!!!

Enter With Thanksgiving

Psalm 100  Please read this chapter before reading this post...Thanks...

This is one of the most beautiful Psalms of thanksgiving that I have ever read...And there is so much instruction here in these 5 verses...

Several people are polled each time this year to see what they list as things they are thankful for...

Me???  Not enough paper...but I can start here...I was at the bottom of the barrel when He reached way down for me...cause He cared enough that I could be set free from ALL of satan's lies...and believe me he had and still does have tactics that will take you further out in sin and keep you longer than you wanted to stay...

I am thankful for the blood that He shed for me...I am thankful for Salvation so rich and Love beyond degree...
I am thankful that along the way He has allowed me to meet some of the greatest people...
I am thankful for my true friends...
I am thankful for my enemies...ME???Yes, we all have them...and I am thankful that I have learned to pray for them, for they are hurting themselves and do not even realize it...
I am thankful for loving parents and a home with a roof over my head...Thankful for the freedom to worship God...

The basis of our Thanksgiving...Psalm 100...written for the people of Israel...God said to them, "When you come into the promised land, and settle down in your warm homes and you have plenty to eat, don't forget Me...I led you out of the wilderness and I brought you to a land with Milk and Honey...Doesn't take long though and we all need a reminder of who God is and what He has done...that is why He calls us His Children...

Five Important Thanksgiving Commands:

1:  Make a joyful noise unto the Lord---shout out to Him...Praise Him...from the depths of your being...

2:  Serve the Lord...and be happy doing it...Amen!!!

3:  Know who God is...and Come before Him with joy...and sing of His Praise to ALL!!!

4.  Enter into His gates...Come boldly before the throne of God...

5.  Know that God is Good in everything that happens in our life...God is Good!!!

May you have a Happy Thanksgiving with Christ everyday...

MEEKNESS IS NOT WEAKNESS

Isaiah 30:15  "For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel;  In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength;  and ye would not."

This was an appeal to turn to the Lord for help, but before I get too far ahead of myself, let me word an illustration and please bear with me...

There are many powerful, overwhelming and just breathtaking sites in the world...

To drop the names of a few places;  Niagara Falls,  The Grand Canyon,  The Great Lakes,  The Mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina and I could mention more...but with the noted ones above I think you will get the picture...

When visiting any one of these places there is STRONG history that makes each one STAND OUT!!! AMAZING!!!

You know people want to be sought after like vacation spots...they have the need to be something, be important, seek power and positions in this life...they think if they don't keep their MATERIAL APPEARANCES up and be ADAMANT in their speech and character that people will run over them...some have nothing, yet build walls around themselves and put on the front of having something...they are harsh...because they are not real....

Jesus showed the form of meekness when He took the towel and girded Himself and washed the feet of the disciples...He showed us how to be SERVANTS OF GOD!!!  Chris Hart, a friend of mine has on his profile, "I'm just a nobody, trying to tell everybody that somebody loves them."  How awesome!!!

Moses became arrogant...misused his power by killing and Egyptian, which only dissipated his power because his own people stopped respecting him...Exodus 2:11-15

The MEEK prosper and inherit the EARTH...that is a promise from God found in Matthew 5:5...

I had rather have Jesus than anything, than to be the queen of a vast domain...I had rather be His servant here and live with Him forever than to ever think that I am a somebody...The only thing that I am, is what He has made me...and He is still working on me...soft clay is easier to work with when it is in the molding process...when it gets hard He has to break us down and start over...

While you are sharing the message of Christ do it with a humble and sweet spirit...

Let God teach you to be meek so you can live in and depend on His strength...

Doing it your way will not accomplish anything...

BE MEEK NOT WEAK IN THE LORD!!!

Like An Eagle???

Someone told me once that we should be like an eagle, and I wondered, "Why like a bird?"

Well, then I couldn't let go of the scripture---"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;  they shall mount up with wings of eagles;  they shall run, and not be weary;  they shall walk, and not faint."  Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Wait???  Oh brother do they not know that I really do not know how to wait...Not on my own strength anyway...

Like Eagles???  First of all an eagle is a strong, confident, and a very one mate bird...very devoted...hmmm???  Got some people beat!!!
An eagle understands thermal currents and they know how and when to spread their wings...
An eagle dwells in top of rocks and clefts...in high places...

THE LORD IS MY ROCK AND MY SALVATION...He is my high place...I dwell under the shadow of the Almighty...

That is a wonderful place to be...no harm there...

Wait---to remain inactive...staying in one place until something anticipated happens...to be in a mindset of, "I am ready..."

Did you know that an eagle will perch on a rock and wait for the sunrise???  While waiting...it looks down to spot prey and waits for the moment to swoop down and devour...

Thought---we cannot mount up with wings of an eagle if we choose not to wait...Wait and I say---Wait upon the Lord...
Waiting can be a few seconds or as Zechariah did for 400 years...When we wait on the Hand of God to move we will soar to new heights and places in Him...

Did you know that flying into the wind is dangerous???
You get higher lifting by flying against the wind...
Thought---If you sense trouble...or that the enemy of your soul is wanting you to fly for pleasure---go against the devil...you got it...you will reach yet another higher place in God...

Eagles have amazing sight...they can see straight ahead, and to the side..."To have eyes and no vision would be worse than being blind..."  Helen Keller
Look at Lot's wife...had eyes but no vision...sought pleasure...should've went against the wind...
Why look back when if you are a child of the Most High King...you have more to look for than what you had...
We need "eagle vision."

Also before flying the eagles clean their feathers...Once the feathers are restored, dead ones removed, baby ones replaced...the eagle is ready to soar into the heavens...
Purge yourselves...we will not be able to go through the fire and come out as gold if we have sin in our lives...we would just be dross...which is very ugly...Examine yourselves daily and see if ye be in the faith...if your not...perch on the rock til all the dead feathers are gone...

The eagle deals with survival of one day at a time...the bible says to take no thought of tomorrow...

Yeah...I can see that now...LIKE AN EAGLE!!!

God Said I Could

As far back as I can remember, which isn't very clear at times, I always knew there was God...
Although I hadn't seen Him...
Yet, I could feel His presence near...
I knew that I had walked with Him as just a child...
But, somewhere in my growing years...
I had lost touch with faith, that seemed so wild...
Then I heard a call...
One like I had never heard before...
To my astonishment...
Yes!!!
It was God...
He said, "Daughter I have been missing you, why don't you come back home?"
I told Him that I couldn't far I had been gone so long...
But, with a Father's hand reached out...
And a heart so full of love...
God Said, "I could..."

If My People

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, andturn from their wicked ways;  then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."  II Chronicles 7:14

I woke up with this on my mind this morning at 3 am...wow this verse alone in the Bible gives a child of God many things to do...turn from our wicked ways...could it be that we must stop murder with our tongues...backbiting, meddlesome, gossip...all evil and surely not from Heaven...we must get in tune with the Almighty God and ask Him to please create in us a clean heart...Purging is not an easy process and be very painful...we must be willing to go through the process and become completely clean before God...and others will notice too...
Lord that we would be willing to be obedient for your cause and for our spot in Heaven...

Amen!!!

Are You Patient With God???

Are you patient with God?

Had we rather have fast-food service...

And keep on our unhappy trod...

Or tie a knot and hold on...

Knowing the answer wil come...

We must know that...

God's timetable is not ours...

We want things way to fast...

And just the way we ask...

His timeable answers want be...

what fits our circumstance...

But, always He will answer...

The way He thinks is best...

Just like a child...

We don't think ahead...

And, He already knows this...

But, it takes time and trial to build us...

And make us who He wants us to be...

God creates a masterpiece...

For, only He has the Masterplan...

And, asking God for what we need...

Should never be taken back out of His hands...

We have to give Him time...

To complete His Masterpiece...

While waiting we must remember...

God is always Great!

God is always on Time!

God is Always Faithful!!!

This morning I woke up fresh and thankful that God had begin to answer some prayers...no, He was answering them...I am beginning to listen...God Bless All who reads this, and if you are going through an ugly picture in your life...Remember, God is creating in you a "MASTERPIECE..."

Too Busy!!!

We are out and about pretty early....
                        Just going here and there....
                                     Doing things because we care...

Did your day start bad or did it start good???
                        I will let you only answet that...but,
                                    If it is bad it started without God...
                                       now is that right or wrong.....

I Have found that if I am too busy as soon as i rise...
                      then God does't have to hear me.....
                            Not about one single thing....

So in the glaze of the morning pleasure...In the fight for my treasure...I have been granted with benefits beyound man's measure...
All the grace that we are receiving...God loves us and was us not to grieve...
But if you are forgetting God, forgetting to meet with him day after day...and always in your heart...then my friend..."You have Forgotten God."

My Earthly Hero

Today on my way home from work, as I was crossing over the Warrior River I saw the barge being loaded...that took my mind back...way back...

I started thinking about my earthly hero...it was Edward Stewart...my Papaw...
LOL...everytime I looked at him as far back as I can remember...I saw Santa Claus...well, except for the beard and the suit...My Pap was Flannel Shirts and Khaky's...
He loved his family...he didn't have to buy me nothing to show his love...He just showed it...
He always took time to answer even the craziest questions...
He taught us to work...be honest workers...not just the older ones, us younguns too...
Oh sure at 5 I couldn't type...but he showed me how to wash flat plates and spoons...and even showed me how to splash the water just to make a mess and make the work fun...
We didn't have parks to go to...Mamaw's living room was just as good as outside for us grandchildren as far as he was concerned...what messes we could make...and the house was never empty...there was at one time in this ole house over 50 people and the meal...whew!!!  Yes I miss him...as I grew older people would say...Now, who is your Dad?  I said, Jimmy...Oh yeah Ed's boy...See I was the oldest Grand and being a girl didn't make no difference to Ed Stewart...why he would even play cowboys and indians just to watch me tie my brother up...Something a little funny...we never wanted for nothing cause what he gave us money couldn't buy...
A plain simple man...with so much common sense...I wish I had of paid more attention...He had three boys and a girl...think he was very picky over me and Aunt Jan...now his boys...LOL...he had just soon as tell them as not...and he sure got my Daddy told over me and Bo...
Yep...he was Ed Stewart as stubborn as Mamaw Jenny...his Momma...now that was a fine country lady...
I remember the day that my world changed and I started having depression as the age of 13...
Me and Bo, my brother wanted to come and see Pap one night to watch Lawrence Welk and Bonanza with him and Daddy was tired so he said we would go the next morning and sure enough after breakfast me and Bo got in the car and said, "OK come on..."
We pulled in Papaw's yard and Uncle Jerry met us outside crying...I knew my world was gone...
Papaw had died in his sleep and when I came in the house and saw him lying on the couch dead...My heart was still in time...that is the saddest first moment that I can remember...and then seeing my Daddy on his knees crying, and my Uncle Jerry and Pap's brother Uncle Johnny...It was horrible...Daddy went and got Mom...Papaw always loved her...he was a good father n law and she was like a second daughter...
But that was 13...at age 23, ten years later...I was working at a store on county line and as I started to close and go read the gas pumps...I saw him standing there shaking his head no...I rubbed my eyes and looked and he pointed for me to stay in the store...as I turned from the door five police cars pulled in and arrested three guys about to come in and rob and maybe even kill me...I looked out and Papaw was gone...
That is the last time I saw him...and I believe that God allowed him to come and help protect me at that moment...and let me see him one more time here on Earth...I just can't wait to get to Heaven...What a Day that will be...

Several folks have asked me where I got the name, or what inspired me to call this blog PamzSpamz...
Well, of course number one...my name is Pam...
I use the z just because...
Spamz...cause most of the time I just jabber anyway...
but, it is nice to go to a place that is mine...in my head and in my heart that I can spill my guts too...
Even if it is just to me...
The reason for my having started the blog, which is all new to me...my heart inspiration..."LisaMe"
If you do not know this lady...wonderful Christian Lady who has had her share of ups and downs...and you never know she is hurting...
She helped me start this...
Not only that but she has showed me how, through Christ to open up to myself and not give the devil credit for everything...
Some things that go wrong are our fault and ours alone...and to Christ we have to take our faults and ask for His guidance and help on how to change us...

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat
The words so often used this time of year...
Of course, the children thinks candy or not...
In hopes their buckets get full of candy...
That is their greatest care...

You know the devil...
He is really good at Trick or Treat...
He offers you the world...
If you just bow at his feet...

Such an old trick...
Yet some still for it fall...
Forgetting that Jesus is the only one
Who died for us ALL...

Oh Praise the Lord!!!
He rose again...
And that is no Trick
My friend...

But it is the greatest Treat of ALL!!!

Mary's Lamb

Mary had the sweetest little lamb...
A gift from God above
He chose her for her purity...
And she was filled with His amazing Love...

Some mistreated Mary...
They looked upon her with shame...
But what they didn't realize,
She was carrying Heaven's seed...

Well, the Angel also went to Joesph...
He did the right thing...
And they were married...
I can just hear the heavens sing...

The night came for her to deliver...cold outside
But, no one could make room for them in all their fine Inns...
Joesph inquired about a stable that he saw, it would be a lowly birth...but we are not proud at all...my family needs to be warm...

Joesph, Mary said...He comes forth...our son...
Tears ran down her face
For she remembered what the angel said:
"On the cross he will take there place...

The little one began to grow...
He learned his Daddy's trade...
He too was a carpentar...
I can't wait to see what for me he has made...

Now Mary, Joesph and Jesus went into town one day...
Some things they had to buy... 
Little Jesus walkes around...
For sure they could see something going on...
Joesph found Jesus in the Temple...

Preaching to His own...

Now the council was amazed to hear this twelve year old
and all he had to say...What they didn't understand...The King of Kings was giving them warning...

Daily with Joesph
He worked side by side
Until the day came
He had to tell them Goodbye...

I was sent by My Heavenly Father to do a work...
To let the people know of His Great Love...

Jesus called unto Him twelve
From different walks of life.
Taught them how to deliver the message of God unto man...

He invited them to a dinner...
This would be there last for now...
He looked around and let the know that one with him now would deny him...Before He was crucified...

Jesus slipped out alone...
To the Garden to pray.
Sweat and Blood ran down that hill...
But travailing prayer helped break His will...

The soilders came and took him...
Away to Pilot's court...
They sentenced him to die on a cross, beaten, whipped and torched...
Soon the Spirit took over...and God gave His Son Strength....
To suffer for the loss
His blood to set the free...

The crowd let the bad ones go free...
And crucified the Holy One...
On a rugged cross between two theives...

Mary gazed up at her son...
Remembering His growing years...
Son, your very precious and i love you so.
He said, Mother don't weep for me, for you will be where I go...

He prayed Father please forgive them for they know now what they do...
And then He bowed His head and gave up the ghost...
That is just how much He loved me and you...

Oh Satan was having a party...
When all of a sudden...
He heard a thunderous sound...Oh not now...Could this be??  The Son of God in Hell...
To rescue the ones that satan
 has tricked and brought to this awful place...

Three days later...
The earth shook as Heaven stood still...
The Stone had been rolled away...
Where had Jesus gone...

You could hear their voices happy with song...
Mary your child is not here he is gone.
He is Gone!!!  Death Could Not Hold HiM!!!  HE IS ALIVE...

PRAISE GOD, JESUS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD, THE KING OF KINGS!!!!!   THE CONQUEOR OF DEATH HELL AND THE GRAVE!!!

Mary...your little lamb slaughtered is ALIVE!!!
And, He sits at the right hand of the Father...longing to come and get His children and I believe it want be long
We will see Mary's Lamb...Jesus Christ...KING OF KING'S AND LORD OF LORD;S AND MASTER OF ALL!!!!

For some that will be an aweful day...
For the child of God sweet rest will come...
As we hear Him say:
Welcome Home!!!  Amen.

The Grave Keeper

John 20:1-18  This is the passage of scripture talking about the resurrection...Please take the time to read the scripture text first...

The caretaker in cemetary where Jesus was buried was quiet dismayed this particular day...as if He could hear the thunderous voice of God ring with a laughter not of any he had heard before...well no wonder, could this be the caretaker thought...

Caretaker:  "O God, what a surprise!  What a wonderful joke! Wow you blew    
                         them away this time..."

God:             "So, You liked what I did???

Caretaker:  "Like it?  I loved it!!!  It was mind boggling, they didn't know what
                         to think."

God:             "My truth is surprising.  What I prepare is so good and so
                       wonderful, NO ONE can comprehend it!!!

Caretaker:  "I loved it."

God:            Smiling stated, "I loved it too!!!

Caretaker:  "I had the best seat in the house, front and center. I mean being
                        the caretaker and all...it has it's priviledges..."

God:              "You had a special view."

Caretaker:  "You know it...It started Friday, late around 5 or 6.  I saw Joesph
                         Arimathea, you know Mr. Megabucks from the Bank of Jerusalem.
                         Nicodemus, Mr. Sanhedrin Councilman, they of all people,
                         carrying the body of Jesus up the hill from Golgotha Cemetary.
                         I couldn't believe it!  We put Him right over there, only grave we
                        could borrow.  Mourners were there.   They bowed before this King.

God:             "Not this King!  He is Jesus, MY SON!!! The King of Kings!!!  The
                       King over Death, Hell and the Grave!!!  For I am the God of the
                       Living...I raised MY SON from the DEAD!!!

Caretaker:  "Didn't mean it that way...I know what you did...After I saw
                          today.  Yes sir, I know...I heard sounds at daybreak!!! I watched
                         a lady scream!!! THE STONE!!!  I saw that it was rolled away!!!
                          She ran a shoutin'---HE'S ALIVE!!!  HE'S ALIVE!!! HE'S ALIVE!!!

God:            "Yes, she had to tell the followers the good news...

Caretaker:  "I didn't know what to do then I heard footsteps running...the
                         disiciples of Christ...They were laughing and dancing and singing
                         High Hosannas!!!  But, I didn't see the Jews...

God:               "They have been blinded"  My friend, you have been more than
                         a caretaker of my son's gravesite, you have felt the presence of
                         God Almighty...for all you have seen, say ye do you believe...

Caretaker:  "Yes Lord, I believe"

God:              "Then ye shall do well in your new home this day with me, come
                         and go with me, for you have served well here my friend."

So many need to hear the good news, but they can witness the good news in our lives...
